zombie nation

news flash: someone is making another "zombie nation" movie. i was in the last one and i have never found a copy of it anywhere. even the film makers acknowledge it to be horrible. but now there is to be another.

i also watched a particulary violent and pitiless and gory zombie flick this evening called, "dead men walking". the title is frighteningly descriptive of what actually happens. no one is spared and the movie even goes after kids, not the usual (on camera) victims of a gut chewing fantasia. but these guys show no mercy. i only watched the last 45 minutes but i lost count of the severed limbs, ripped off heads, gunshot wounds to the head by suicide, and the ripping out of entrails.

awesome.

it was also filmed in the lincon heights jail, the city i was working in yesterday, friday, october 13th, on a film that also has the number 13 in the title

as happenstance would have it, i stumbled over the "la zombie walk" on LJ the day i was looking at and joining the group was the actual day of the latest zombie walk down sunset boulevard. apparently, there will be another gathering in the near future for a shamble near venice beach.

even more zombification, you ask? yes, there is.

usa network will be showing the uncut and extended version of the excellent "dawn of the dead" remake next sunday. usa runs snarky knowing commercials for law and order and now custom makes them for the movies they choose to feature. hence, the "zombies are people too, well, dead people" ad that is playing right now. october 22, nark that calendar.

i installed the i must not fear firefox extension at a really good time, it seems. i manage to get ever so slighty creeped out by these zombie matters, but i still stand sickly fascinated by them despite my fear.

weird.
